Episode #102 – Paver Savers

There might be some question as to what makes a hall a hall, but there’s no doubt what constitutes fame in the fastener business. This is clear as industry legend, Mr. Virg Lindstrom, of Lindstrom Metric renown speaks with Dan Zehnder of Trinity Hardware (1:20:24). Adding his thoughts on the subject, and riding the superslide of fastener greatness, Würth Timberline president, Russ Doran, comments on the recent Fastener Hall of Fame rescue project (21:11), which is documented during segments featuring industry gadfly Marty Nolan, Jackie “Kind of a Big Deal” Ventura, and freewheeling fastener wildcatter, Eric Dudas (13:18). Always focused on fasteners, Mike McNulty presents industry headlines, and surveys the carnage of the January FDI along with MWFA president, Bob “GQ” Baer (51:54). Also, Carmen Vertullo delivers the Fastener Training Minute with another real-world application question (1:11:21). Assured of their own destiny, Brian and Eric distinguish between the famous and infamous as they slog along the questionable pathway to fastener glory. Run time: 01:49:33

Eric Dudas

Eric Dudas

Eric Dudas got the idea of launching Fully Threaded Radio in the early days of podcasting as he pondered how to promote the FCH Sourcing Network to an industry that wasn’t doing much with traditional social media. Fifteen years later, the show has a life of its own and has opened more doors than he could have imagined. More recently, he’s been working to build the NFBBQA (National Fastener BBQ Association) to help fastener professionals better enjoy cooking meat over fire. He also enjoys chicken ranching at his small farm in semi-rural northeast Ohio.
